The Air Jordan 5 x A Ma Maniere 'Dawn' and 'Dusk' Pack is a Lesson in Luxury

A Ma Maniére (translated as “My Way” in French) is a multi-label fashion boutique originating from Atlanta, Georgia, inspired by Parisian culture and fashion. Founded by James Whitner, also owner of the streetwear chain Social Status, A Ma Maniére stands in three locations throughout the USA, including Washington D.C., Atlanta, and Houston, Texas. Whilst the success of their stores is evident, the collaborative efforts with Jordan brand are where the true magic begins. Originally choosing the Air Jordan 3 as the canvas, the end result was a pair that has achieved grail status for many collectors, kitted out in a luxurious sail leather upper and complimented by aged details and supple suede accents. Next up was the Air Jordan 1 High, keeping the theme of sail uppers going and adding a luxurious pop of burgundy on the swoosh, outsole, and laces. The latest of the efforts is the Air Jordan 4 Retro A Ma Maniére Violet Ore, an all-encompassing pair detailed with quilted lining, tying in well with the aesthetic of the A Ma Maniére stores, whose desire is to create a store experience that is both high-end and inviting.

Following on from the most recent collaborative effort on the Air Jordan 4, A Ma Maniére is joining forces with Jordan brand yet again, this time on two variations of the classic Jordan 5 silhouette. Dubbed the Air Jordan 5 x A Ma Maniére ‘Dawn’ and ‘Dusk’ colourways, each pair is very clean and inoffensive, opting for subtle branding and offering a unique aesthetic that is pleasing to the eye and allows for ease of wear. Each pair dons a fine suede upper, truly emphasising the luxurious inspiration behind their design, whilst a first-of-its-kind custom AMM monogram pattern replaces the signature mesh cage on the sidewalls of each shoe. Co-branding appears on the tongue and outsole offering a subtle touch of detail, alongside four lace options allowing for total customisation no matter your style.

Having seen a limited release on the A Ma Maniére website already, the Air Jordan 5 x A Ma Maniére ‘Dawn’ and ‘Dusk’ are expected to drop again on the 24^th and 27^th of November respectively.
