adidas and JJJJound Are Back Again
Joining forces once again to unveil a new take on the infamous Samba silhouette, adidas and Montreal-based creative outlet JJJJound are ready to dominate the lifestyle wardrobe. The first two iterations which dropped in March sported the classic Samba aesthetic, with one white pair and one black, each boasting a gum outsole that throws it back to the OG days of the silhouette. The latest Adidas x JJJJound Samba “Tobacco” version is a totally new theme but still immensely wearable and pleasing to the eyes.

The Inspiration Behind the Collaboration
Inspired by the game of football and complete with a marketing campaign starring the legendary football manager Jose Mourinho, the adidas x JJJJound Samba “Tobacco” can be seen on the feet of Jose as well as an all-black tracksuit which is part of the collection. The Samba takes on a beige-brown suede upper whilst dark tan accents dress the three-stripe branding, heel counters, laces, and infamous gum outsole. Subtle JJJJound branding is etched in gold in place of the traditional “Samba” text along the three-stripes on the sidewall of the shoe.
