Coming Soon: The New Balance x Action Bronson 1906R Collection

Action Bronson has always been an advocate for New Balance, having been introduced to the brand by his mother as a child and developing a fond love for their footwear. Action states he liked them for their flashy 3M elements and appreciated the simple grey colourways the most, insisting he is a simple man at heart. Chasing a collaboration for years, it was Teddy Santis who really drove it home for Action, and since his inception as creative director for the brand, Teddy has quickly made his mark with a variety of colourways and collaborations. This is not the first piece of work which has involved Bronson, having released two iterations of the 990v6 in 2023, a collaboration which proved a massive hit and truly stood out as a unique duo that featured eye-catching details and mesmerising storytelling.

As promised, Action Bronson is making the most of his relationship with New Balance, stating there is a lot more coming. Next up is the New Balance x Action Bronson 1906R Collection, featuring three new colourways, all inspired by various mediums and sporting a vibrant combination of colours and tones. The colourways are dubbed the “Rosewater”, “Scorpius”, and “Medusa Azul”, with each having been leaked via Action’s Instagram account. There is a lack of official imagery of yet, but we can see that each pair rocks various colours on the upper, like that of the 990v6 duo which utilised a combination of neon’s, earthy tones, and aquatic inspiration.
